What is the IELTS Core Curriculum?
I am an OCT (Ontario College of Teachers) certified English teacher, a TESL Ontario certified ESL teacher, and a British Council certified IELTS Instructor. In 2014, I got the opportunity to try the academic module of the IELTS test and achieved an overall band score of 9.0. Currently, I run Writing Riot in Ontario, a writing center, specifically set up to meet the writing needs of middle school and high school students in Canada. I have taught English and IELTS for more than two decades in Canada and abroad, and these 100 core IELTS video lessons are based on my decades of experience teaching IELTS.
In the 100 core IELTS video lessons, I will cover the four sections of the IELTS test in both the academic and general modules. These lessons follow my core IELTS curriculum, which you can find on IELTS100.com.
Now, what will happen after you have watched these 100 core video lessons? Well, there are basically no more lessons that you will need to watch in order to obtain a band score of 7.0 or 7.5.
However, anyone who is aiming for a band score of 8.0 or higher or IELTS candidates aiming for 7.0 or 7.5, who also want to build a safety margin into their IELTS study plan can benefit greatly from my IELTS 100+ video lessons.
Although it does not matter which section you start first, please make sure you follow the video lessons in each section of the test according to the curriculum. You can find the curriculum along with links to the videos on IELTS100.com. Also, please watch each video lesson as many times as required before moving on to the next video lesson.
